Hello world!

I'm Jesse Newton, a Fashion Design and Merchandising major from Mississippi State University. I have such a passion for design because of how clothes can change a person. (Pretty Woman always comes to mind) I've always believed that if someone loves what they're wearing it's alot easier for them to love themselves.

Born and raised here in Mississippi, I have a great appreciation for the South: the food, the rich history, the charm ... not to mention it's where my mother is. When I was in grade school, I decided that I'd try my hand at sewing. I bought a broken, $20 Brother sewing machine and I never looked back.

Focusing on statement pieces, often mixing vintage inspired sillhouettes with bright colors and patterns, my designs are not for the meek and timid. I hope to one day eradicate sweatpants from the American wardrobe and bring back "dressing up" on a daily basis.
